Examples of Potential Fair Housing Violations
- Refusing to rent, sell or show a property based on protected characteristics.
- Quoting higher prices or increasing security deposits for specific groups.
- Steering prospective purchasers to certain neighborhoods based on protected characteristics.
- Refusing to waive a “no pet” policy for service or assistance animals.
