Sounds of Summer Concert Series Returns to Staten Island
Free outdoor concerts, beautiful parks, neighborhood charm, and summer nights made for music.

Staten Island summer nights just got a little more musical. The Sounds of Summer Concert Series is back, bringing live performances to some of Staten Island’s most loved parks and cultural spaces every Thursday night through August.
From patriotic music at Fort Wadsworth to neighborhood favorites at Historic Richmond Town, Conference House Park, Snug Harbor, Wolfe’s Pond Park, Westerleigh Park, and Silver Lake Park, this series is a great reminder that Staten Island has more than homes — it has heart, history, waterfront views, and plenty of reasons to get outside.
Opening Weekend Highlights
The series begins with a patriotic Fourth of July weekend celebration featuring the 42nd Infantry Band on July 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the scenic Overlook at Fort Wadsworth. The celebration continues July 4 with the United States Marine Corps Band at the Alice Austen House as the Parade of Ships sails into New York Harbor.

Why These Concerts Are So Staten Island
What makes this series special is that each concert feels connected to the neighborhood around it. You are not just hearing music — you are experiencing the character of Staten Island itself. One night may bring waterfront views, another may bring historic charm, and another may put you right in the middle of a classic neighborhood park.
Events like this are part of what makes Staten Island such a wonderful place to live. Whether you are drawn to the South Shore’s parks, the North Shore’s culture, or the Mid-Island neighborhoods that keep everything connected, summer concerts are a perfect excuse to explore.
